Following their faceoff at URL’s “Summer Madness 5” on Sept. 26, O’fficial and Ms. Hustle caught up with BattleRap.com’s Editor-in-Chief Chris Mitchell to recap their match-up. Throughout the two conversations, both emcees were quick to praise each other's performance but were also equally as quick to lay claim to the No. 1 spot.
O’fficial On Ms. Hustle Clash: “I Won The Battle 2-1”
The general consensus from those in the attendance on Sept. 26 was that O’fficial took a decisive loss at the hands of Ms. Hustle. However, the New Orleans emcee says now that the footage has been released, some fans have been scoring the battle 2-1 in her favor, crowning her the winner in the first and the third rounds. O’fficial goes on to say that she remains the No. 1 female battler right now due to her consistency and continued output compared to her less-active peers.
“I feel like I’m still Number 1 because I still have the résumé, I still have the consistency, I still have what you should want a Number 1 to have,” O’fficial says. “Everybody have a bad day. Jaz [The Rapper] had her bad day. 40 [B.A.R.R.S] had her bad day. [Michael] Jordan had a bad game. I’m not gon’ cry over it, I’m just gon’ go kill the next bitch.”
Ms. Hustle Weighs In On O’fficial Bout
Contrary to O’fficial’s thoughts, Ms. Hustle believes that she’s taken the crown as the No. 1 female battler following the Sept. 26 clash. She adds that her performance scored her a convincing 3-0 win and now has her sights set on facing Hitman Holla.
“Of course, definitely,” Ms. Hustle replies when asked if her performance against O’fficial makes her the top female battler. “If they called her the Number 1 and I beat her 3-0 tonight, what does that make me?”
