PH To Be Honored With Street Name In Brooklyn

For many, PH's name was already synonymous with Park Slope, Brooklyn. Now it's official.

Fifth Avenue and Degraw will soon be renamed "Robert PH Diaz Way" in honor of the late emcee who grew up nearby, according to Poison Pen's announcement on Instagram.

Team Homi crewmate Sara Kana also posted an announcement, rejoicing at the decision.

The effort to update the corner has been in the works since just after the rapper's death in June, with a petition netting more than 1,000 signatures in favor of the new name, and the Community Board okaying the initial plan in September.
