Dizaster & Murda Mook Go At It In Phone Interview

Two of the biggest names in battle rap spar on Angryfans Radio.

Taking their differences from Twitter to the telephone, battle rap legends Dizaster and Murda Mook got into a heated debate in a recent interview published Oct. 27 on AngryFan Radio’s YouTube channel.

Dizaster, who is coming off a string of impressive performances against Dumbfoundead (and Sketch Menace) at KOTD’s “World Domination 5” and Gjonaj at KOTD's “Back To Baysics 3” called out Harlem emcee Murda Mook, accusing him of picking and choosing his opponents.

Mook called up to defend himself in what turned out to be a highly intense interview. “I don't start writing raps until the nigga give me my bread, half of my money, so I could give a fuck less about what y'all do … I'm not sitting back watching battle rappers strategizing,” said Mook, who immediately began to defend himself when he joined the interview.

Things got crazy between the two battlers as Dizaster began to scream at Mook with his typical intensity until Angryfans host CAPS calmed the pair down. Dizaster began to explain why he called out Mook, “I feel like I'm the biggest shit [on the West Coast] and you're one of the biggest dudes out there, that's why I want to make it happen for the people, you don't have to come off like a fucking cornball and act like you're above people … the whole scene, they would love to see something like this happen.”

Diz went on to accuse Mook of not wanting to battle in Cali, to which Mook responded, “I've been asked to battle a lot of places Dizaster, but they didn't have enough money to pay me.”

Diz responded by saying, “We are the only two battlers that have ever been on MTV, we are the only two battlers that constantly, constantly have had celebrities — like I've battled big people and you probably have the potential to have a big battle, the amount of people we would bring together, the amount of celebrities that would be standing behind both of us, the amount of attention it would bring to the game … if we just asked for a percentage of that whole shit that was made, we wouldn't have to get overpaid or underpaid.”
