Bill Collector Gives His Thoughts On "Virus"

Bill Collector says he's done taking battle rap seriously after Dizaster's "Virus" event.

In a vlog posted on his YouTube account on Nov. 1, Norristown, Pa. emcee Bill Collector recapped the "Virus" event that went down in California, coming to the conclusion that he's done taking battle rap seriously.

A very animated Bill Collector starts by addressing battle rap fans who are upset with Cadalack Ron for his controversial performance as a KKK member, explaining that he knew Caddy was going for a positive message at the end. "First of all, for everybody that's angry with Cadalack Ron and talking shit about Cadalack Ron this, Cadalack Ron that, Cadalack Ron was really going to go in and talk heavy shit about the KKK, he was about to fuck that shit up in his third round."

Bill Collector also displayed his frustrations with everyone who was involved with planning the event because of their secrecy concerning the pay-per-view and what Bill Collector believed to be an arranged fight between Ron and Daylyt, "Daylyt shot that nigga with a paintball, he shot him with numerous jawns and he didn't react, why would ya think that Daylyt snatching the flag from this man issued a serious fight?"

Bill also spoke about the confusion with FilmOn's claim to the footage. "From what I'm hearing, they're pay-per-viewing this shit. I asked you niggas several fucking times about the pay-per-view shit, y'all told me no, but now y'all saying it's FilmOn and this Alki nigga I never met in my fucking life is involved with this shit, y'all saying it's a surprise he popped out of nowhere trying to steal the footage and shit. I'm reading all these little articles and y'all got interviews and statements with Alki. All this shit was planned out bro."

Bill says he isn't upset even if FilmOn is involved since he was told he'd still be getting his promised YouTube earnings, but just wants to know the truth up front, adding "all this extra shit is sneaky."

Regardless, he doesn't seem angry at the organizers, writing in the description of the video: "Major shoutout to Dizaster and Lush One."

Overall Bill says the event isn't worth taking too seriously, addressing critics who thought battlers rapping as characters was stupid, "It was a fucking costume party dickhead, it's Halloween, like you was probably running around with a Spider-Man suit on ... I blame niggas like AngryFan, the Unbias', The War Reports because they are nobodies that gave voices to more nobodies."
