KOTD co-founder Organik has commented on the backlash that has surfaced against some of the "Blackout 6" announcements with a post in the league's Talkback Facebook debate group.
The post came after several announcement trailers got more dislikes than likes on YouTube:
- T-Rex: 206 likes, 692 dislikes
- Arsonal: 298 likes, 327 dislikes
- Skelly: 181 likes, 451 dislikes
Compare those to the most popular trailers for the event so far:
- Carter Deems: 820 likes, 29 dislikes
- Rone vs. Illmaculate title match: 827 likes, 62 dislikes
Some fans in the Facebook group posted about their dismay at seeing Arsonal and T-Rex on the card, referencing some of their weaker showings over the last year, which led to other fans pointing out that both of those emcees are well-established legends, in a sort of backlash to the backlash.
