If you're a fan of The Dirtbag Dan Show, you already understand what a centerpiece Cadalack Ron was to the program and how entertaining his guest episodes were. In this tribute, the Counter Productive gang joins up to remember Caddy through his top battles, best moments, and most hilarious contributions to the culture.
The episode talks about some of the reactions to Caddy's death, from Daylyt’s controversial tribute song (since taken down), to VladTV's tweet promoting a story about Ron shooting up in a battle, to what they felt were inaccuracies in Nocando’s article in LA Weekly, to some of the blowback to Ron's character in forums and Facebook groups. Although Dan and the gang seem upset about all of this, they agree how much Caddy would have loved it as a fan of controversy.
The 90-minute video is a reminder of how Caddy was seen by those closest to him. He spent his whole career pushing boundaries, making people uncomfortable, and most importantly, making people laugh. He was a polarizing figure who understood life in a unique way, but after watching four of his friends cry tears of laughter remembering him, it is undoubtable how much joy he has left fans with his legacy.
