For the first time, the KOTD chain belongs to an American from the East Coast. Rone became the 12th KOTD champion by convincing four out of five judges to cast their vote for him after a close battle with defending title holder Illmaculate at "Blackout 6" in Toronto in the early hours of Feb. 21.
