Tink Tha Demon On Mike P, Anatomy, Next Steps In URL

Tink also hints at his next opponent on URL.

Tink Tha Demon was another up-and-coming emcee who raised his profile with an intense performance at URL's "Born Legacy 2" in New York on March 6. His battle with Mike P was a source of debate at the event but the consensus was that the battle was fire.

BattleRap.com caught up with Tink to get his thoughts on the battle.

When discussing his comfort in the small-room setting Tink told us: “I come from that real small-room environment, where I’m known to shake a small room.” Tink also gave a full breakdown of how he thought the battle went. He felt as if he took the battle 2-1, saying he may have been edged in Round 2. Describing Mike's secound round, he said, “He started off dry, but by the end of round 2, he made up for the whole round.” Tink added, “If somebody says that he would have won Round 2, the material that he came with at the end was crazy, so I wouldn’t debate that.”

When talking about this battle specifically, and his perspective on Mike as an opponent, Tink admitted that he felt that the battle was a “step back,” but despite that, he took the battle because of his respect for Mike as an opponent, stating: “Mike’s one of those people that’s going to take his respect, he’s not asking for it. And he wants the bullies, he’s calling us out.”

Near the end of the interview, Tink revealed he has another battle on the URL in April, but wouldn’t say the opponent, only hinting that it would be a Harlem legend.
