Iron Solomon Speaks On Dizaster's Racial Content

"I'm here to stay right now," Iron Solomon says of his return to battle rap.

Poison Pen and Iron Solomon took some time to talk with BattleRap.com after Iron's headline battle with Dizaster at KOTD's "Blackout 6" in Toronto on Feb. 19.

When asked for their thoughts on Dizaster's Hitler impression, Poison Pen spoke up first declaring, "That's my man, me and Diz are cool but I'm glad that mustache fell off his face cause fuck that shit ... the battle itself was amazing though."

Solomon had a more introspective response, explaining why he doesn't usually include racial angles in his raps. "I think hip hop is a force for positivity and unity. So you might make jokes with your friends ... but when you're in front of a lot of people there's so much room for misinterpretation."

Responding to a question concerning what he learned about Dizaster from their battle, Solomon said, "He's a force to be reckoned with," adding, "He just fucking destroyed it."

Poison Pen also hints that Solomon may make another appearance soon, possibly at KOTD's "MASSacre 2" on May 15 (not the 21st) if everything works out.
