Soul will be defending his Don't Flop title for the first time against Raptor at "Checkpoint 3" in London on April 23. The U.K. champion has remained active since winning the title in a phenomenal battle against Cee Major at last year's Checkpoint event, taking non-title matches against Caustic, Chris Leese and Purpose, as well as Bender in KOTD, to varying results. He's taken some time off recently and the CP3 battle will be his first of 2016.
His opponent (as we semi-predicted last year) is Raptor, a Manchester emcee who has been steadily killing it in the league for the last couple of years.
His highly lauded breakout battle with GEMIN1 (then Gemini) launched him and he's had recent standout performances against Pass, Big Kannon and Tony D for the league, and a solid battle with Lu Cipher in South Africa.
"Checkpoint 3" goes down at Ministry Of Sound in London, England on April 23. Tenchoo vs. Copywrite and Shox The Rebel vs. Coma have also been confirmed for the card.
