Head I.C.E Recaps Carter Deems Battle, Previews Bigg K Match-Up

“You don’t battle I.C.E to beat me. You can’t beat me. You battle for that respect — and Carter earned that,” says I.C.E.

Fresh off  what could reasonably be described as the strangest style clash in battle history with Carter Deems, Harlem legend Head I.C.E caught up with Frak to recap the battle.

I.C.E opened by giving respect to Carter, while at the same time, asserting his status as unbeatable, saying: “You don’t battle I.C.E to beat me. You can’t beat me. You battle for that respect — and Carter earned that. So I’m quite sure other dudes who was looking at him like he’s a nobody, they’re gonna give him that shot too.”

On how Carter performed in the battle: “He came Carter Deems, he didn’t try to be nobody else but himself. And that’s what I like about him. And I brought him into my world, I didn’t try to cater to Carter Deems style, I did I.C.E.”

I.C.E indicated that this may not be the last time we see him and Carter work together saying: "we might have to do a song and a video. It's gonna have to be like that, because after I destroy I build." Carter came into the interview at this point and shyly guessed that the title of a song they did together would be "Best Friends."

In the biggest change of direction ever, I.C.E previewed his next battle against Bigg K. When discussing just how different the two match-ups are he said simply: “Carter Deems is nice, but K is on some other shit, and he talk that talk, that I talk.”
