Caustic On T-Rex Battle, Video Games & Sam Kolt

Caustic recaps his battle at KOTD's "Back To Basics 4" in Los Angeles on April 16.

After his battle with Harlem legend T-Rex at KOTD's "Back To Basics 4," Caustic shared his thoughts on the battle, video games and pondered what's next for his career.

“I thought my first round was going to go over way better, and Rex came out and I was like oh shit, I might be in fucking trouble. Then my second round was killer” then alluding to the fact that he may have literally killed someone since an audience member passed out during his second. Caustic noted that it was “a pretty genuine Caustic performance” because of that.

When it was mentioned that Caustic didn’t necessarily cross any lines, he noted that he'd intended to, saying: “It was probably a good thing I got cut off in the second round, I had a few steps over the line,” and added, “it was like another 12-16 bars.”

Caustic and Chris talk about video games, discussing Caustic's recent livestreaming on Twitch, Caustic's decimation of Chris at Street Fighter, and YouTube gamer Dashie's previous work with Nah Son.

Here's that video:

At the end of the video, Caustic and Chris both seemed to agree that there is not really a super logical next opponent for him. When BOTZ standout Sam Kolt was mentioned, Caustic joked that it may be funny to be the third straight opponent to no-show on him.
