Over the past several days, there has been considerable uproar over the death of Alton Sterling, a Baton Rouge, Louisiana man who was shot and killed by police.
Detroit rapper Marv Won recorded a video giving his thoughts on the subject.
Marv made the point that while race is undoubtedly a factor in these sorts of shootings, that class warfare plays a role as well, saying:
“If this was Will Smith they put six bullets in, the entire world would be in an uproar. But because it was a nigga with gold teeth, who was selling CDs outside a store, then it’s like 'that’s their problem.'"
