The battle was a perfect storm of two very popular battlers meeting up at a very hyped event, promoted by Drake having a battle that was entertaining for hardcore fans, and accessible for casual fans. The result of all those factors is a ton of views and a clash that has a chance to become the most viewed in English language battle rap history in the future.
