An important member of the New York underground hip hop community has unfortunately passed away. Majesty was a rapper, writer, organizer and activist who many battle fans may remember as being a member of Team New York from the WRC's, battling emcees such as Hommy Hom and Piff James, Mad Illz and Parable and most notably, two matches against The Saurus and Illmaculate. Outside of battle rap, he was known for being a co-founder of Legendary Cyphers and was part of the End of the Weak movement.
Majesty was highly respected in the battle community, with many battle rappers and others in the battle rap and hip hop community generally sharing condolences and memories:
