Earlier this month, VladTV released a video of Watts, California emcee Daylyt saying: “I’d fuck Diddy. I’m not gonna front. I’d fuck the shit out of Diddy… Why not? Diddy’s attractive.”
Recently sitting down with VladTV, Chicago lyricist Twista spoke on Daylyt’s remarks.
“Oh man, he lost his mind. Damn. Why did he say that? Just to get a rise out of mothafuckas?”
After being shown the video, Twista admitted Day’s comments were “funny as hell,” but seemed assured the battle rapper wasn’t serious.
“I know he just fuckin’ around, man… Daylyt ain’t serious, man, but that shit is funny as hell though, man,” Twista says. “He snappin’, that shit is funny as hell.”
Soon after VladTV published the interview with Daylyt, which now has more than 85,000 views on VladTV’s YouTube page, various outlets including MTV, TheBoomBox and Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club” reported on it. The video even made it to the front page of gossip/news site Gawker.
Twista also gives credit to Daylyt for delivering the whole interview with a straight face.
“Because he got the serious face and he’s sitting there breaking it down to you seriously doing what he do,” Twista says. “It’s really amazing that he’s able to pull of something like that with a plain face. Come on, man, we know he ain’t serious… From what I’m seeing, man, he a fuckin’ fool.”
