Battle Rap Touches Down In ATL For A3C & BET Awards

Atlanta was a hotbed of hip-hop events last week as the 2015 BET Hip-Hop Awards were recorded in the middle of the massive A3C festival. Battle rap was well represented on both platforms, with live performances from some of the culture's elite emcees.

At the 2015 BET Hip-Hop Awards, Charlie Clips, DNA, K-Shine, T-Top and Rain performed a live cypher, which you should be able to see when the show is broadcast tonight (Oct. 13) starting at 8:00 p.m. Eastern. UPDATE: You can watch the cypher here.

Last year at the awards, Murda Mook nearly shut the event down with a memorable performance in the live cypher, joined by Snoop Dogg, Arsonal, Calicoe and Couture.

Atlanta also hosted A3C last week, a five-day hip-hop festival that featured hundreds of performances, including one from Tsu Surf. He and the URL entourage also took in some battles at Don't Flop's A3C card, a full recap of which we'll have on the site soon.
