URL presents the 5 battle mega card from New York City.

URL is back at Irving Plaza today for the long-awaited Night Of Main Events 6. NOME events have a legendary reputation in the battle rap community, and today's lineup looks in line with the high standard fans apply to the battle series. As always with URL events, there will be no direct quotes allowed, but we have someone in the building to report on how the battles are going.

The full card is:

  • DNA vs. Daylyt
  • Arsonal vs. Brizz Rawsteen
  • Tay Roc vs. Rum Nitty
  • Charlie Clips vs. Ill Will
  • Tsu Surf vs. T Top

In addition to the announced battles, there have been rumors online of a surprise battle that'll be going down as well.

It's looking like a battle with some highs and lows, but all indications are that the battle was a very solid one. Will seems to be given the win by most people, with 2-1 being the score I've seen most often.

Tsu Surf vs. T Top

Obviously disappointing ending to Surf's night, but the battle should provide enough high points to be a must-watch. T Top is said to have had one of the strongest performances of his career, and against an opponent the caliber of Surf, that should speak very well for his future prospects.

URL announced that Ave vs. Chess will be taking place as a surprise battle.

Good night so far for the newer generation of battlers, as consensus seems to be that Brizz added another win to their side over Arsonal. From all indications, Ars did well though, and its entirely possible that when the battle drops it will be debated far more than it is now.
