DNA & Chess Clash Ahead of "Rookies Vs. Vets" Match-Up

Up-and-comer Chess will get a shot at DNA at URL's upcoming "Rookies vs. Vets" card on March 28.

The battle pitting DNA against Chess is coming soon. Chess, a hungry up-and-comer from the Bronx, will get a chance at the consistently prolific DNA, a model of the rookie-turned-vet pipeline himself. DNA will look to hold on to his upper hand as URL invests in its young rappers at the "Rookies vs. Vets" in New York on March 28.

Chess is a true newcomer with his first filmed battle only dating back to late 2013. Since then the teen has taken on opponents in local NYC leagues (including his home league of We Go Hard) and made a run through the third season of BET's "Ultimate Freestyle Friday" tournament until a stumble against eventual champion T-Top stopped him in the semi-finals.

DNA on the other hand has been one of the busiest battlers around, to the point where fans sometimes question his high volume of appearances.

When they're at the top of their respective games, both DNA and Chess are known for their high-energy performances, making their scheduled battle a low-key mirror match. It's another well-picked match-up for URL's "Rookie vs. Vets" card and grants Chess his biggest opportunity for a come-up yet.
