Lush One Calls Dizaster vs. Cassidy "The Most Important Battle Ever"

EXCLUSIVE: "People didn’t think this was possible," Lush says. "This is a dude that was turning down six-figure offers."

Sitting down at the HipHopDX offices for an exclusive interview with BattleRap.com, Lush One made some exclusive announcements about the upcoming Fresh Coast/FilmOn "Ether" card slated for December and outlined the next three major events he'll be involved with. Speaking specifically about the headline battle between Cassidy and Dizaster, Lush says simply, “it’s the fucking most important battle ever set up.”

“This match is dope,” he said. “That’s kind of the general consensus now. People just, if not for anything more than just pure voyeuristic fascination, they wanna see that shit. It’s the fucking most important battle ever set up. It’s already generated more discussion. You’re talking about the artist people have wanted to see booked in battles more than anybody. It didn’t even make sense. People didn’t think this was possible. This is a dude that was turning down six-figure offers.”

During the interview, Lush announced that “Ether” will take place at the Belasco Theatre in downtown Los Angeles and also confirmed Danny Myers vs. Heartless would be the only “West-on-West crime you finna see on that card.” Lush says the event will set a new precedent for pay-per-view and overall production value and announced that the stream would span five hours and feature some additional and possibly unannounced match-ups.

“You’re gonna see on this card, without saying too much, Arsonal against one of the classic top West Coasters,” he added. “That’s already locked down. You’re gonna be seeing a few different match-ups. So we have this event and then we have another big event we’re putting together with the homie Nikiya out in Boston, which is in May. You’re gonna see Arsonal with a big battle on that as well. Then there’s obviously the King Of The Dot "Blackout" card in January. That’s kind of like the Ether, Blackout, and then that Boston event. That’s our next three major moves as far as events.”

Separately, Lush hinted that the KOTD and FilmOn platform would collaborate with fellow promoter Teddy Grizzle for "Battle of the Bay 7," an event that will likely host the anticipated Arsonal vs. Mistah F.A.B. match this January.
