Arsonal Announced For “Blackout 5”

Arsonal returns to the “Blackout” series at the February event.

Today’s “Blackout 5” announcement is New Jersey battler Arsonal.

Arsonal’s name is nearly omnipresent in the world of battle rap. Ever since his impressive early performances in Lionz Den and Fight Klub, Arsonal has been working to cement his name as one of the culture’s greats. According to Versetracker.com, he is the most-viewed North American battler on YouTube, thanks in part to his clash with Shotty Horroh on Don't Flop, which is close to hitting six million views.

Arsonal’s most recent appearance on the KOTD stage was against Swave Sevah at “Blackout 4” in early 2014. That kicked off a busy year for him, where he faced Yung Ill, Qleen Paper, Rum Nitty, Daylyt, Big T on “Total Slaughter” and John John Da Don at "Gladiator School."

His most recent showing was against The Saurus at FCMG/FilmOn’s “Ether” event last month.

Before his BO5 battle though, he'll headline "Battle Of The Bay 7" against Oakland rap icon Mistah FAB. More on that here.

King Of The Dot’s “Blackout 5” event goes down on Feb. 7-8 at the 1250-seat Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Toronto, Canada.
