Don’t Flop Chicago Interview Round-Up: DNA, Big Kannon & Quill

During Don’t Flop’s 2015 summer tour of the United States, the U.K.-based league stopped off in Chicago on June 20 for an event that featured the likes of Hitman Holla, DNA and Rum Nitty.

BattleRap.com was in the building and caught a ton of interviews with the performers. In this interview round-up, we speak with DNA, Big Kannon, Young Kannon, Quill, Streetwise and Megadef to get their thoughts on the event and their respective match-ups.

DNA & BIG KANNON SAY THEY WANT NWX VS. WRITERS BLOQUE EVENT

After briefly discussing his spontaneous freestyle battle against Sammy Wild 100’s at Don’t Flop Chicago, DNA hooked up with Big Kannon to talk about a potential NWX vs. Writers Bloque crew event.

BIG KANNON ON DOUBLES MATCH AGAINST REAL DEAL & FRESCO: “IT’S A 3-0 FOR THE FANS”

Big Kannon revealed that he’s interested in doing more 2-on-2 battles with Young Kannon following their match-up against Real Deal and Fresco at Don’t Flop Chicago. The Chi-Town lyricist also gave insight into the current state of his city’s battle rap scene.

Young Kannon says that despite Real Deal and Fresco’s strong performance at Don’t Flop’s event in Chicago last month, he and Big Kannon still walked away with the victory.
