Murda Mook is stepping back into battle rap.
The Harlem emcee and battle legend took to AngryFans Radio on Oct. 27 for a phone interview where he announced his upcoming battle with Newark emcee Tsu Surf.
The match-up has been in the making for a while now, with the two of them going back and forth about Mook's legacy over the radio in June.
Mook, whose last battle was a consensus victory against Loaded Lux at "Total Slaughter," says "Surf let it out too early but I guess we could do this now ... Now we could give the fans what they wanted to see. 'Mook can't battle a new nigga' like he scared he ducking people,' I don't duck nothing you know what I duck, I duck bounced checks."
Mook went on to say, "I told him he could back out the other day, I said you could back out now but he didn't accept it, you know Surf is a very prideful human being, which is why I fuck with him so you know we going down baby, that's what it is."
Mook also mentioned that he thinks the card he and Surf are battling on will be the biggest battle rap card in history, "This is going to be the biggest one to take place to date, shout out to every battle rapper that's going to be on this card, that got this call, you know what I'm saying this shit going to be crazy ... I feel like there is a bigger battle on this card than me and Surf."
He didn't mention which platform the battle would be on, but many are speculating that it's the massive event Beasley mentioned in a recent interview with BattleRap.com.
