Following their highly-praised clash at “Redemption” in New York City this past weekend (July 25), Tay Roc and Brizz Rawsteen spoke with ThatShitIsHotSun! and BattleRap.com respectively to recap the match-up.
Tay Roc On Brizz Rawsteen Battle: “It Was Ugly For Him”
Shortly after the battle, Tay Roc offered some words on his performance and began building the hype surrounding his “Summer Madness 5” battle against a yet-to-be-announced opponent.
“I feel it went my way,” Tay Roc says. “Brizz definitely did his thing, shout-out to Brizz, but I came to do what I do. That’s just a warm-up. That was light shit. I got Summer Madness coming. I’m not gonna speak upon my opponent but get your tickets, because I’m coming to act the asshole that night too.
“My next battle, if y’all thought this was crazy, I’ll see y’all [at] ‘Summer Madness,’ man,” Roc adds. “But shout-out to Brizz. I’m hearing all types of shit but I feel like I killed a nigga. I feel it was ugly for him.”
Brizz Rawsteen: “It Was The Best Of The Night”
BattleRap.com caught up with Brizz Rawsteen following his match-up against Tay Roc to get his thoughts on the match-up that many called the clear highlight.
“I feel like the battle with me and Tay Roc went real well, man,” Brizz says. “I feel like it was the best battle of the night. Either that or T Top and [Shotgun] Suge. That’s what they always says when we’re on the card.”
Brizz also weighed in on the headline battle between T-Rex and Danny Myers.
“I gave that to Danny Myers, man. I think Danny won.”
