For the last couple of major events, Battle Rap Twitter has had a bit of a meltdown over scandals, but the afterglow from this weekend’s proceedings at KOTD's "Blackout 5" has been nothing if not hugely positive. Whether the tweets are about their own clashes or the event as a whole, the general consensus from battlers is that KOTD and OVO put on a classic event.
There was some controversy, namely around the title match, with Charron announcing that he will probably be taking a break after the drama involving his third round and Hollohan. Lingering questions also remain about if the winner of Shotty Horroh vs. Hitman Holla got their promised $10,000.
Here’s what battlers on the card had to say after the event…
SHUFFLE-T
