URL's May 9 event was huge. The sold-out show at Irving Plaza attracted all of the East Coast battle rap elite, along with celebrities like Drake and Joe Budden. Charlie Clips and Hollow Da Don headlined the event and the post-battle debate set the online world on fire. Best of all, there weren't any controversies to overshadow what was a fantastic night for battle rap. Also of note, this was the first URL event to feature a live pay-per-view.
